Glovo-owned gig worker management company Foodinho has been fined EUR 2.6m (USD 3m) for the abuse of privacy, transparency, notification, processing, security and other principles under the EU's GDPR.
Italy's DPA also raised concerns about potential discrimination arising from its management algorithm and ordered Foodinho to make a raft of changes to its privacy practices and to amend how its management algorithms work.
