Two robots tasked with distributing medicine across Mater Dei Hospital in Malta have been criticised by the country's nurses union for repeatedly breaking down and stocking the wrong drugs, describing them as 'worthless' and a 'complete failure'.

The union claims eight nurses in one ward have resigned since the robots' introduction, with the rest demanding to be transferred.
