Tesla Model 3 crashes into overturned truck on Taiwan highway

A Tesla Model 3 crashed into a truck on a highway in Taiwan while reportedly on Autopilot. 

The May 2020 incident, which was caught on security camera, recorded the car smash into a large truck carrying salad and breakfast ingredients which had flipped over and was lying on its side in the middle of the road. The driver was apparently unharmed.

Per Taiwan English News, 'According to preliminary investigations by the Highway Police Bureau, the 53-year-old Tesla driver, Mr Huang, said that his car was on autopilot, and traveling at around 110 kilometers per hour at the time of the crash. 

As soon as he saw the truck, he stepped on the brake, Mr Huang said. However, it was too late to stop the vehicle, and it crashed through the roof of the overturned truck.'
