Tesla Model 3 hits six children, adult

A Tesla Model 3 was involved in an accident at Ardingly College, West Sussex, where it hit six children and an adult. 

The incident occurred during a holiday camp pick-up. One of the children, an eight-year-old boy, was seriously injured and airlifted to St George’s Hospital in London. The other five children and the adult received treatment for minor injuries. 

The driver of the Tesla, a 47-year-old woman, was uninjured. An investigation law launched into the cause of the collision, including with the car's Autopilot driver assistance system had been activated at the time of the crash.
